Waters Advanced Polymer Chromatography (APC) w/ Wyatt μDAWN Multi-Angle Light Scattering (MALS) and Optilab UT-rEX Refractive Index (RI) Detectors

Description

The Waters-Wyatt APC-MALS-RI system combines a very high definition Waters APC system enables fast fractionation of polymers with Wyatt MALS and RI detectors which provide fast and accurate measurements of the absolute molecular weight, particle size and distribution, and even 3D geometry features of synthetic or natural macromolecules across a broad range of molecular weights (3000 ~ 2,000,000 g/mol). The default solvent is THF and can accommodate DMF and other solvents upon request. Automatic sample management and injection allow for the analysis of large sample sets.

The APC-MALS-RI system consists of an ACQUITY APC system composed of an isocratic solvent manager (p-ISM), a sample manager with a flow-through needle (SM-pFTN), and a single zone column manager (CM-S) and two essential analysis instruments: Wyatt μDAWN multi-angle light scattering detector for absolute measurement of polymer radius of gyration and weight-averaged molecular weight and Wyatt OptiLab T-rEX for measurement of analyte concentration and determination of solution refractive index.
