TA Instruments Discovery Series DSC 2500 with RCS90 Cooler

Description

Discovery series DSC 2500 from TA Instruments offers streamlined material testing with high accuracy and sensitivity in determining materials phase transition parameters, e.g., melting, crystallization, or glass-transition temperatures, as well as corresponding enthalpies. These parameters are obtained through a precise DSC cell composed of a thermoelectric sensor surrounded by a furnace and a cooler, which enables precise control over heating and cooling rates within the operating range of the instrument (-90 to 400 °C under the current setting) while heat flow of the sample is measured against a reference.

An RCS90 cooler employs a two-stage refrigeration system to permit efficient cooling down to -90 °C.

The auto-sampler loads/unloads samples allowing for consecutive measurement of up to 54 samples, and a gas delivery module controls the purge gas to the furnace (gas 1 (N2); artificial air, He, Ar, O2 can be configured).
