Biography
Ilektra is a graduate student working in the Penner lab in the chemistry department. Her research focuses on the metal-ion energy storage properties of nanostructured niobium oxide electrodes. She uses SEM, XRD, XPS, and AFM to characterize her electrodes and provides assistance for users of the FEI Magellan 400 XHR SEM, Rigaku SmartLab X-ray Diffractometer, and Thermo Scientific ICP-MS with Coupled Laser Ablation Sample Introduction System.
